Earlier the OG model came equipped with a 6N11/E88CC tube but the new MT-601S adopts the newer and better-performing 12AU7/ECC82 tube in the pre-amp stage. It adds a touch of smoothness, a touch of lushness, and a touch of richness to the output signal. In order to complement the rich tone of the Tube pre-amp, MT-601S features a transistor-based headphone amp with a Class A buffer. MT-601S houses a single-ended 6.35mm headphone output that provides up to 200mW of clean, precise output at 32Ω of impedance load. It supports headphones from 16Ω to 600Ω impedance. MT-601S similar to other devices in the series features an exquisite design with a beautiful Grey shell and Red volume knob.
