FiiO has equipped the FW5 with Qualcomm’s trusted QCC5141 latest-generation Bluetooth chipset. It enables the latest Bluetooth V5.2 connectivity, with high-resolution LHDC/AptX Adaptive transmission protocols support. The pair brings lag-free, smooth Bluetooth connectivity with a high-res 24-Bit/96kHz Streaming bitrate. Completing the high-resolution streaming via Qualcomm’s Bluetooth Processor, FiiO has equipped with a high-performance AK4332 DAC chip. It presents crisp sound signal decoding and presents the listeners with a high-quality sound performance.
FiiO has years of experience in designing multi-driver IEMs, they have designed the FW5 with a three-driver hybrid configuration. The pair houses a 10mm DLC Diaphragm+PU Gasket Dynamic Driver and Two Knowles RAD Balanced Armature Drivers on each side. The dynamic driver here is tuned to deliver a crisp full-frequency band delivering a powerful bass response, rich midrange, and detailed treble performance. Knowles RAD BA drivers are known for their impressive treble frequency response. Together, the three-driver hybrid configuration is tuned to present a clean, rich, and detailed sound performance.
