Kinera has been designing all their IEMs taking inspiration from the characters of Norse Mythology. The latest Skuld here is no different. According to Norse Mythology, Skuld is the youngest of the three goddesses of fate we know as Norn.

Story Background of Kinera Skuld
As other IEMs in the Kinera’s lineup, Skuld also has its design inspiration roots deep into Norse Mythology. Skuld according to the Norse Myths, is the youngest among the three sisters of fate we all know as Norn. She is also known as the Goddess of the future. This realm of the future is reflected in the ear cavities by its futuristic color theme and design.
Beautiful Hand-Painted Ear Cavities
Kinera Skuld similar to other IEMs in their lineup has premium hand-painted designer ear cavities. The lead designer has adopted black as the main base color with blue and green changing polarising effect as the main design elements on the cavities. They have lustrous gold foils with glittery silver optical particles to provide shine to the elements on the cavities. It is in our opinion one of the best looking IEMs not only in Kinera’s lineup but also in the industry worldwide.
Powerful Multi-BA Configuration
Kinera Skuld features a powerful multi-BA driver configuration per side. It houses three premium Knowles BA Drivers paired with two in-house customized BA units. 1x2 Kinera customized SWFK-31736 composite BA unit is made for a smooth high-frequency response. Midrange uses 2x2 Knowles composite RAF-32873 BA unit producing rich and airy mid-range. The lower end is handled by Knowles CI-22955 BA unit that is known to produce a punchy lower end response.

Silver-Plated Copper Balanced Cable
Kinera Skuld comes bundled with a high-quality silver-plated copper cable with a fully balanced 4.4mm termination plug. The cable consists of 24 strands per wire, 8 manual braided cores, a total of 192 strands per cable. It has PVC insulation for the outer covering reducing any chances of microphonic issues. It provides excellent audio signal transmission with low internal resistance. This high-quality cable enhances the sound with a better, wider soundstage, deeper bass, smooth yet detailed mid and high-frequency response.
