10mm LCP Diaphragm Dynamic Driver
Kinera QOA Gimlet is made of a newly designed LCP composite diaphragm dynamic driver. The 10mm diaphragm presents more sound details. The combination of high rigidity LCP material, just like the mixed gin and lime juice, seems to be the way it should be.

Standard with specially designed 4-core silver-plated cable, the Gimlet features relaxed and comfortable acoustic experience. It comes from our deeper understanding of Gimlet's cocktail refreshing, slightly drunk. The new thin and light ear hooks are more suitable for wearing. To bring users a more comfortable wearing, the design of Gimlet was finally finalized after repeated tests. The overall round shape without sharp corners can make you forget its existence when wearing it. The Kinera QOA Gimlet characterizes a specially designed sloping nozzle for a better fit.

REW Frequency Response
Sound quality description
In this review, I use the standard eartips size L and drive it with the FiiO M15.
The QOA Gimlet has a near-neutral U-shaped sound signature.
Please see here for detailed reviews on sound quality.
Lows / Bass
The QOA GImlet's low frequencies are a little short on depth, and have a boomy, warm impression with strong weight and thickness; this is probably the kind of adjustment that is made because of QOA's brand concept of emphasizing a sense of warmth.
The bass drum has plenty of weight, but lacks rawness with a shallow kick and is a bit loose and slightly expansive in its tightness.
The electric bass is also a bit more shallow than deep-bodied and a mildly hot sound.
The bass is not bad in terms of quantity, but it may be a little difficult to satisfy bass lovers in terms of quality. It is a sound that will not resonate well with the upper class of bass fanatics in particular.
The essence of the QOA GImlet lies in its beautifully integrated midrange. While brightness is carefully suppressed, instrumental sounds have a sense of transparency and sound mellow and fresh.
While there is a warmth that emphasizes the comfort of listening that is typical of QOA, the midrange framework is built in such a way that it can be heard quite properly, with a strong sense of edge and crunch. As a result, the midrange has a solid sense of separation and three-dimensionality, with high resolution and a rich sense of depth and fullness.
The musical expression, with a sense of density and an overall harmonic and slightly reduced detail, creates a rich resonance around the vocals, allowing the listener to enjoy a sweet, rich sound.
QOA is a popular brand for its musical sound, and the Gimlet is another great example of the excellent workmanship that fans have come to expect.
For example, Ed Sheeran's "Photograph" heard on Gimlet sounds impressive with its firmly defined guitar edge, but the details are not overemphasized, and the slightly hazy atmosphere enhances the nostalgic image of this song, and the rich sounding voice The sharp acidity of the gin-based music and the mellow, mellow sound of the Like a gimlet that coexists with the sharp acidity and mellowness of a gin base, this sound allows you to immerse yourself in the music in a tipsy mood as if you were retracing sweet and sour memories.
Detail is lacking, so the sound is more listening-like than monitor-like.
Highs / Treble
High frequencies are tuned to decay smoothly.
The overall energy is suppressed, so even those who are sensitive to high frequencies are safe, but only the sibilance is relatively strong. As a result, a slight but perceptible stinginess is easy to detect, and some songs may feel sharp.
The highs are generally closed, with a slightly stronger sense of ceiling, and cymbal crashes tend to be poorly spread out and blatantly lacking in exhilaration.
Sound quality general comment
The sound is slightly cohesive in the midrange and has some strong habits, but the audio specs are above the price level, so if you like a dense sound, the QOA Gimlet is not a bad choice.

The QoA Gimlet is IEMs that offers a QoA-like sound with a warm, mellow, and dense midrange. The range is a bit lacking and detail is easily lacking, and there are a few quirks, but the package and build quality are high and highly recommended if rich sound is your preference.
