Quality Updates Over The TA1
TA1 Max can be considered as an upgrade to the classic TA1 that got so many good reviews online. TRN has worked in its architecture and improved things here and there bringing a new level of performance with the TA1 Max. Instead of an 8mm micro DD unit as found on the TA1, the latest TA1 Max houses a 10mm DD that too with a high-quality beryllium-plated diaphragm coil. Moreover, TA1 Max also got a new semi-open back architecture that relieves the air pressure inside the cavity structure and also provides a comfortable fit. TRN has also redesigned the connectors on the TA1 Max, they now use 2-pin connectors instead of MMCX connectors.

TRN TA1 Max features a dual-driver hybrid configuration per side. Out of the two, one is a high-quality 10mm dynamic driver unit with a beryllium-plated diaphragm coil. Beryllium is a rare and premium material that provides a high-density and lightweight structure, ideal characteristics for diaphragm material. With expert tuning by professional engineers at TRN, the TA1 Max produces a thunderous bass response.
Custom-Tuned Knowles Balanced Armature Driver unit
TRN has paired Knowles 33518 balanced armature driver to complement the powerful lower end of the DD unit with a smooth, transparent, and accurate mid and high-frequency response. The BA driver is placed in the ear nozzle, ensuring you get true-to-life natural sound performance.
Brand New Acoustic Structure With Semi-Open Back Design
We all need a comfortable experience in order to enjoy our gears better. TRN has designed the TA1 Max with a semi-open back design on the shells. They will help maintain the air pressure inside the cavity and also near the eardrum.
