The pair is said to have a smooth, high-detailed sound output with rich vocal clarity and smooth high-frequency response. 3D Printed Acoustic Tube Cavity
KZ has designed the AST with a 3D-printed acoustic tube cavity for multiple BA drivers. It helps in easier placement of the drivers inside the shells and also helps in reducing distortion in the output with an acoustic tube design.

KZ AST features a professionally designed electronic crossover tuning each driver to respond to a particular frequency range. This results in ultra-low distortion in the output with a high level of detail retrieval and each driver achieving its best performance.
