As we all know, AKM technologies recently come up with its latest range of DACs. The latest Tempotec Variation 6 adopts a premium Dual DAC chipset featuring two AK4493SE latest-generation DAC Chips. These are from their latest 32-Bit Velvet Sound technology series. With the help of this premium Dual DAC arrangement, the Variations V6 provides full high-resolution audio signal decoding supporting 32-Bit/768kHz PCM, native DSD512, and full 16x MQA decoding. It not only supports decoding for high-resolution signals but is said to provide best-in-class performance with ultra-low THD+N and high SNR ratings.
Tempotec has designed a pyramid analog amplification circuit for the Variations V6. Each channel on the V6 has got two OPA1612 LPF chips and four OPA1688 Amp chips. The result is a super clean, powerful output that makes the Variations 6 suitable for most IEMs and HPs in the market. With its balanced 4.4mm connection, the Variations 6 outputs up to 610mW of clean output power at 32Ω of impedance load. It supports both single-ended and balanced connections with 3.5mm and 4.4mm ports. There are separate ports for line-out and headphone output.
Tempotec V6 features Qualcomm’s snapdragon 425 SoC chip and 2GB of RAM. It comes loaded with Android 8.1OS. It has an SRC Bypass architecture that bypasses the Android SRC and allows high-resolution audio support across different applications. Apart from all this, Tempotec has featured all the latest technologies and features on the V6 such as two-way High-Res Bluetooth connectivity, a 4.2” large display with screen mirroring support, long battery life, Dual-band WiFi, etc. It actually houses a large 4500mAh battery that provides an extended playback time. It supports QC3.0 fast-charging technology that charges the V6 from 0% to 70% in an hour!!
