Topping has just released a brand new portable USB and Bluetooth DAC/AMP, the latest Topping G5. It’s a highly versatile device that serves as a premium Hi-Res audio source with its high-performance DAC chipset, powerful NFCA-based amplification module, and Hi-Res Bluetooth connectivity. Topping has designed the G5 as a single device that just needs a smartphone and you are good to go with all your Hi-Res audio requirements on the go. Topping G5 adopts sub-flagship ESS ES9068AS 32-bit DAC chipset. With the professional adjustment, it achieves crisp performance while decoding high-resolution audio signals. G5 supports high-resolution 32-Bit/768kHz PCM and native DSD512 signals via USB input. Along with this USB input, one can also feed the signal to Topping G5 using Aux and Wireless Bluetooth connectivity. Wireless Bluetooth connectivity is supported on the G5, it comes equipped with the latest QCC5125 Bluetooth chip that brings support for high-definition wireless protocols including LDAC, APTX HD, and more.
Topping has featured its famous NFCA(Nested Feedback Composite Amplifier) amplification module on the G5. Topping has previously implemented its NFCA amplification architecture on products such as NX7, A90, etc. It produces a powerful output thrust with a clean background and lower distortion. G5 has got a powerful output rating of up to 1.2W on 32Ω of load. With a three-level gain mode, Topping G5 is suitable for both sensitive as well as high-power requiring IEMs and headphones.
