In this review, I use the standard eartips size L and drive it with the FiiO M15.
CCA CXS has a sound signature that is almost completely neutral.

Lows / Bass
The low frequencies of the CCA CXS are quite deep and well extended, and can achieve quite a sense of realism.
Drum kicks have plenty of impact and a fair amount of weight, and rumble is of a satisfactory level.
Electric bass also sounds black, solid and expansive.
It can be said to be well balanced with the midrange in terms of presence, and can be highly recommended for low-frequency enthusiasts.
Mids
The midrange of the CCA CXS is nearly completely neutral, providing a transparent and lush sound.
The center of the midrange is slightly darker, but sufficiently up front to provide a balance that sounds glossy with a slight emphasis on the mid-high range. The atmosphere is sweet and almost crystal clear.
The electric and acoustic guitars have a colorful edge and plenty of bite, giving the guitars a crisp, vibrant sound, and the vocals sound a bit husky with a slight lift. The snare has plenty of snap.
The tuning is quite similar to the FLA in the same price range, but it has a more analytical sound, with more high frequencies and better detail and air than the FLA. The sense of construction is also adequate.
Highs / Treble
The high frequencies of the CCA CXS are tuned for speaker-like forward localization. Extension is lacking.
Sibilance may sound slightly stronger, but the sting is well controlled. The sense of definition is adequate, and luminance may be just slightly lacking, but also generally adequate. The highs are sufficiently monitor-like and detailed for analytical listening.

If you prefer a rich, glossy sound, the CCA CXS is a very attractive IEMs. The tuning is of a high standard, with a well-balanced, smooth finish with few unpleasant peaks in the high frequency range, making these earphones comfortable to listen to. The CCA CXS also has a deep enough low frequency range to satisfy bass lovers.
